
AU Green MBA Grad Honored by DEAC
Anaheim University is proud to announce that Kashem Muttaqi, a distinguished graduate of the MBA in Global Sustainable Management program, has been selected among the DEAC Outstanding Graduates and Distinguished Alumni for 2024. This prestigious recognition celebrates graduates who have made exceptional contributions to their fields and exemplify the impact of distance education. Dr. Muttaqi is a recipient of the Anaheim University Ferrotec Akira Yamamura Scholarship. He currently serves as the Director of the Australian Research Council Training Centre in Energy Technologies for Future Grids and is a Senior Professor at the University of Wollongong in Australia. His leadership in advancing renewable energy research and technology has positioned him as a global authority in the field of sustainable energy systems. Notably, in 2024, Dr. Muttaqi achieved one of the highest honors in his profession by attaining fellowship with the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), USA. This recognition reflects his pioneering contributions to the modeling and control of renewable and distributed energy resources, a critical area for building sustainable and resilient energy systems worldwide. Throughout his career, Dr. Muttaqi has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to addressing global energy challenges through innovation, research, and collaboration. His achievements are a testament to the values and expertise instilled through Anaheim University’s MBA in Global Sustainable Management program, which equips professionals with the tools to lead sustainable initiatives on a global scale.
