Carland Entrepreneurship Institute

The Carland Entrepreneurship Institute focuses on the study and practice of entrepreneurship, from identifying opportunities and developing new ventures to creating business models and leading innovation.

Named for Drs. Jim and JoAnn Carland, pioneers in entrepreneurship education, the Institute builds on a long academic tradition of helping entrepreneurs and business leaders turn ideas into viable ventures. Its programs combine business fundamentals with specialized study in entrepreneurial strategy, innovation, planning, and venture development.

Students can pursue entrepreneurship at the master’s or doctoral level, with each program offering a different path for developing, leading, and researching entrepreneurial ventures.
