Plan Your Studies

A few rules that help you finish on time.

COURSE ORDER

Take Courses When Offered

Enroll each time a course you need for your program is offered, so you can finish on schedule.

GRADES

Keep a 3.0 GPA

You need a 3.0 GPA throughout the MA to graduate. Falling below 3.0 places you on academic probation.

CAPSTONE

Stay Enrolled to the End

Students completing a thesis stay enrolled each term until all requirements are approved.

TIME LIMIT

Up to Three Years

Most students finish in about two and a half years. Extensions beyond three years need approval and carry a fee of $2,000 per term.
