Anaheim University Chancellor Peter Langenberg Meets with Dwango Founder Nobuo Kawakami

Anaheim University Chancellor Peter Langenberg met with Nobuo Kawakami, founder of Japanese telecommunications and media company Dwango Co., Ltd., to discuss potential educational collaboration involving Anaheim University, Zen University, and N High School, two of Japan’s prominent online educational institutions.

Zen University, a relatively new online university in Japan, has experienced rapid growth, enrolling more than 7,000 students within its first 18 months. Meanwhile, N High School has enrolled approximately 36,000 students, making it Japan’s largest high school program.

Anaheim University wishes to continue the discussion and would like to explore how Anaheim University’s pioneering experience in delivering online degree programs to students around the world could complement the innovative educational models developed by Zen University and N High School.

Anaheim University has extensive experience in online education, offering degree and certificate programs in business administration, Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL), and other specialized fields. The University continues to explore international partnerships that expand educational access and create opportunities for students and working professionals.

The meeting with Dwango founder Nobuo Kawakami, whose innovative approach to online education has helped transform Japan’s educational landscape, reflects Anaheim University’s ongoing commitment to strengthening relationships with Japanese educational institutions and exploring new opportunities for collaboration and innovation in international online education.
