Dr. Marie Webb holds a Ph.D. in English Composition and Applied Linguistics from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Education degree in TESOL, Literacy and Culture from the University of San Diego. She has been teaching since 2010 in a wide range of settings including California community colleges and universities, and has international teaching experience in Seoul, South Korea, Tokyo, Japan, and Macau, China. In addition to her ESL teaching, Marie has also taught Master's level coursework at University of Santa Barbara and the University of San Diego. Marie is interested in researching and learning more about writing teacher identity in the Composition and TESOL fields.

Jimalee Sowell is a Ph.D. candidate in Composition and Applied Linguistics at Indiana University of Pennsylvania and holds an MATESOL degree from SIT Graduate Institute. Ms. Sowell has worked as an English language teacher and teacher trainer since 2000. Ms. Sowell has worked in a variety of contexts including South Korea, Malaysia, Bangladesh, Ecuador, Uganda, Cambodia, Vietnam, and Côte d’Ivoire. Her research interests include writing instruction, peace education, genre analysis, disability studies, large class pedagogy, and teacher education.
