Edward Summers, Ph.D.

Vice President of Administrative Affairs

Dr. Edward Summers serves as Vice President of Administrative Affairs at Anaheim University, bringing more than 20 years of leadership experience in higher education, nonprofit management, and organizational development. Dr. Summers has held a number of senior academic and administrative positions at distinguished institutions. He served as Chief Strategy and Planning Officer and Assistant Professor of Public Administration at Long Island University, Chief Deputy to the President at Stony Brook University (State University of New York at Stony Brook), Chief of Staff and Director of the Kelly Adirondack Center at Union College, and Assistant to the President and Presidential Fellow at Marist College. He also served as Executive Director of the Brooklyn Education Innovation Network (BE.IN), leading a consortium of 11 higher education institutions in partnership with government and industry. Dr. Summers earned his Ph.D. and M.Phil. in Public and Urban Policy from The New School, an M.P.A. and B.A. in Political Science from Marist College. His career reflects a deep commitment to educational access, institutional excellence, and community impact.
